Introduction To These Pages

First of all you should know that what we might call "classes" in Catalan on the Internet at present are almost non-existent. That being said, there are probably thousands of pages on the Internet today that are written in Catalan, contain sound files in Catalan, or contain information about the Catalan language which a person can use to learn Catalan. And, fortunately, the Internet sometimes seems to be changing at the speed of light these days, so what you don't find today may very likely be here tomorrow. As more resources become available, they will included on these pages.

I have to recommend visiting:
• AVUI Online daily newspaper in Catalan available in either graphic or text form. Apart from the close friends I have made via the Internet, I would say that being able to read the AVUI each day is the single greatest gift the Internet has given me. Avui is the Catalan word for today.
